Use the Prerequisites tab to define which course(s) must be completed by a student before this course can be scheduled. More than one course may be added if necessary.
This step is optional.
While in the Edit Course window, click on the Prerequisites tab.
Click Add Prerequisite, and the fields become editable. Example
Complete the fields as described.
State Service ID: Select from the pull-down list. Since this list references the State Service ID table instead of the course catalog, the same code may be attached to multiple courses making any of them acceptable to fulfill the requirement. It also allows transferred credits from another district, entered directly on the transcript, to be considered for meeting the prerequisite.
Parts: Select the number of parts of the prerequisite that must be completed before scheduling this course.
Min Grade: Enter the minimum grade the student must have in the prerequisite. A grade of 70.00 is considered passing; however an honors program may have a stricter requirement for automatic approval.
Click Save.
Repeat steps 2-4 to enter additional courses.
