Immunizations

Immunizations represent a collection of related vaccines that can be tracked and reported. You can specify a reporting policy for each grade level to aid in reporting children missing the required immunizations.

Vaccines are the shots or doses that constitute the components of an immunization.

Add an immunization

  1. Select Students from the Jump to Module pull-down list in the upper right corner.

  2. Select Immunizations from the Health menu, and the Immunizations window opens.

  3. Click Add Immunization, and the New Immunization window opens.

  4. Enter the Name, and click Create. The immunization is saved, and the Edit window opens displaying the Vaccines and Policies tabs.

  5. Click on the Vaccines tab, and that window opens.

  6. Click Add Vaccine, and the Vaccine editor opens.

  7. Complete the fields as described.

  8. Click Save.

  9. Click on the Policies tab, and that window opens.

  10. Click Add Policy, and the Policies editor opens.

  11. Complete the fields as described. See the Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis example below to further explain the fields.

  12. Click Save.
